What is the difference between the Cody Stampede and Cody Nite Rodeos?
The Cody Stampede and Xtreme Bulls are PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned rodeos that occur June 30th-July 4th. The Cody Nite Rodeo is an amateur rodeo that isn't sanctioned by any rodeo association. The Cody Nite Rodeo occurs every night June-August excluding June 30- July 4.
What is the party deck?
The party deck is a new deck along the Southeast fence of the arena. This offers our guests a close up experience and great views. All seating is first come first serve and are high top bar tables. The party deck is not available over the Cody Stampede.
How do I choose my date I want to attend the Cody Nite Rodeo?
All tickets except for June 30th- July 4th are "Open Ended." This means your ticket is valid for any night you choose to attend and are not date specific.
Do we offer Senior or AAA discounts?
No
Are pets allowed in the gate?
No. Registered service animals are the only pets allowed in Stampede Park.
Do the rodeos sell out of tickets?
The Cody Nite Rodeo doesn't sell out. The Cody Stampede and Xtreme Bulls do sell out and we highly encourage purchasing your tickets in advance.
Do we need special tickets for Buzzard Roost seating?
Special tickets are not required for the Cody Nite Rodeo. Seating for the Buzzard Roost over the Cody Stampede is sold out to our season ticket holders and not available to the general public.
How long does the rodeo last?
The rodeo lasts 1½ to 2 hours
Are the rodeo grounds handicap accessible?
Yes, there is plenty of handicap parking as well as handicap wheelchair accessible seating.
Is there food available?
Yes we offer concession style food. Hot dogs, BBQ sandwiches, nachos, etc. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
What if it rains?
We try to rodeo no matter what mother nature throws at us. On a very rare occasion we may cancel due to poor weather but this only happens for extreme weather conditions.
Are there fireworks?
The City of Cody hosts a magnificent display beginning at dust (9:30 p.m.) on July 4th. You are not allowed to stay in the seating area for the fireworks but you can see them from the parking lot and just about anywhere in town. There is no fireworks for the Cody Nite Rodeo.
