Bullfighters are the first line of defense for the bullrider. Bulls are quite fast and agile and their sudden moves are very dangerous. An accomplished athlete, master of timing and agility, the bullfighter distracts the bull so the cowboy can escape. Cody Stampede Rodeo Bullfighters: Dusty Tuckness of Meeteetse and his partner Andy Burrell or Ardmore, OK won the Professional Bullfighters Daisy Protection Bullfight World championships in November 2008.

Darrell Diefenbach

Australian bullfighter Darrell Diefenbach, 29, won two bullfighting titles in his native Australia. Now a resident of Denton, Texas, Diefenbach has reached the top of his profession in the PRCA working several marquee events including the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo and the Pace Picante ProRodeo Classic.
